iStriker: Rescue & Combat

You have two goals that you have to achieve in the C2Matrix-developed game “iStriker: Rescue & Combat” (iStriker from hence forth). The first goal is to fly your helicopter to rescue alliance members who are in trouble. The second goal is to destroy all enemies in sight.

You will get to try your hand at rescuing allies and destroying enemies in 5 missions set in various environments. And speaking about destroying enemies, it must be mentioned that it will be a thrill to go against the gigantic bosses. The bosses are hard to destroy, but that what makes the game fun – the sense of exhilaration when you take down a gigantic enemy. The laser, a powerful weapon that recharges over time, will definitely come in handy during a fight against a boss.

There are two way to control the helicopter in the iStriker game. You can go with the touch controls and tap the screen to control the helicopter. But if you want something that makes you feel like you’re a real pilot, you can go with the tilt controls. The iStriker game uses your iDevice’s accelerometer to make you feel like a real pilot.

At the time of writing this, the iStriker game is available for purchase in the App Store for $2.99. There is no Lite version that I am aware of, so the best chance you have of getting a taste of what the game is like without parting with your money is to watch the video down at the bottom of this article. All I can say to push you to get iStriker is that it is an entertaining and exciting shoot’em up game.
